At Wellcome, we guarantee to offer popular consumer products at unbeatably low prices. Wellcome works closely and continuously with market research companies to ensure that our prices are always the lowest in town.
In 2001, Wellcome announced its double refund offer with lowest price guarantee by doubling the difference back to customers.
“Double-the-Difference Back” policy details
- Refund applies only to same-day, same item purchases made at other supermarket chains/ convenience stores within 1000 metres of the relevant Wellcome store.
- Double-the-Difference Back applies to the difference between Wellcome's promotional price (as published in press) and the scanning price of other supermarket chains/ convenience stores operating three or more personal care stores in Hong Kong.
- Customers are entitled to receive the refund at the relevant Wellcome Supermarket/ Super Stores on the same day only. Refund is limited to two pieces of each item.
- Double-the-Difference Back does not cover promotional price items reduced due to damage or clearance purposes.
- Customers must present receipts from both Wellcome and the other supermarket chain/ convenience stores as proof for refund on day of purchase.
- In case of any dispute, Wellcome's decision shall be final.
